Hello! My name is Blake Pingleton, and I'm a junior studying Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University, focusing on propulsion systems. My passions lie in gas dynamics and combustion as applied to experimental engineering, and though I'm still early in my career, I've gravitated toward developing predictive models and validating them in test campaigns.

This portfolio documents personal and academic projects that demonstrate my engineering skills, as well as the industry-standard tools I'm comfortable using. You'll find CAD models, CFD simulations, MATLAB programs, mathematical modeling, and experimental work that reflect both my academic experiences and personal interests. Each project emphasizes not only the final result, but also the engineering processes involved.

I still have much to learn, and that's one of the things I find most exciting about engineering. My goal is to earn my degree and pursue a career in propulsion research and development, where I can deepen my understanding of gas dynamics and combustion while contributing to the design, analysis, and testing of advanced propulsion systems.

"The first principle is that you must not fool yourself — and you are the easiest person to fool."
