Hello! My name is Blake Pingleton, and I'm a junior studying Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University. My work focuses on developing complex engineering systems through the lens of physics-based principles rather than surface-level practices.

I believe the best solutions come from understanding the fundamentals of the problem at hand. Rather than treating equations, software, or design rules as unquestionable black boxes, I prefer to establish a strong knowledge base and build a deeper understanding that leads to more robust and reliable designs.

Outside of coursework, I'm building toward a propulsion-focused master's degree and a long-term career in propulsion R&D within industry or academia.

"The first principle is that you must not fool yourself — and you are the easiest person to fool."
